Brook House

c1950s

View of Brook House.  Built in the 1860's as a residence for Mr William Moxon, the building later became offices for the Dover Corporation and Dover Borough Council.  Amid public outcry the house was demolished on Saturday 16 July 1988 when the council offices relocated to Whitfield. (See Dover - Lock and Key for more info). A car park now marks the location !
